Rabbit Hole [New] (unfinished poem)

As I traveled down the rabbit hole, I saw three things that caught my eye
The first was jewelry on the floor
The second, locked and fastened doors
The third, a burly woman busy guarding those who live inside

I asked her “What’s the purpose of the jewelry and the doors I passed?
She said “The jewelry’s to distract”
“The doors are where we store our snacks”
“Plus some doors hold intruders that invade, but don’t retreat that fast”

“It all depends on why you’re here. To steal our wine, or drink our beer?”
“Or just to visit briefly, and go back to where you started from.”
