This site contains short entries of fiction and poetry (plus some random commentary):

- 35% written recently, in the last decade or two [=’NEW’]
- 60% written many decades ago while I was still in school [=’OLD’ or ‘CLASSIC’] — before I moved to California and met my wife
- 5% written some time in between
When I have an opportunity, I either write new, or reach into the box and grab something old to post — so the percentages above change over time.
I did a big fluff in 2021 — after working with the (crappy) hosting company to get the site fully functional again:

- I made small edits to some of what’s posted — to revert some wording to the original, and fix a few misspellings
- I adjusted the appearance of my intro comments
- I changed the overall site template, and added a cover photo which I took from the terrace of the Gloria Ferrer (sparkling) winery in Sonoma
