Confidence [Classic] (unfinished story)

Another writing exercise.


He had an air of confidence about him. Not overpowering, as was some people’s — whose smooth talk and constant swagger grow rapidly unbearable. His was a frank openness that led one to believe not only that he had no secrets, but that he couldn’t conceive of who needed to maintain any. He was tall and well-built, with a quick smile and a quick wit.
