Another comic strip. This one is signed ‘TR’, which suggests one of my ‘R’ brothers (Rick or Rob) contributed.
BTW, if you are too young to understand, he is using his helmet as a TV — complete with an antenna, trying to receive a broadcasted TV signal.

I think this comic name is a take on the TV show ‘Flipper’.
The ‘dry and wear’ comment at the end is a pun on the term ‘wash and wear’ — which was used to describe clothing (that was innovative long ago) which didn’t need further attention (like ironing) after laundering.

I have a bunch of comic strips that I made many years ago, several with repeating characters — for example, I have a handful with these bats. There are enough strips that it made me think that perhaps I should have a separate ‘humor’ site with these comic strips plus my jokes (and maybe riddles?) from my writing site.

A take on the TV show Batman. Funnier if you’re familiar with the show.
I had the idea years ago to see if it were possible for my last name to be readable both forwards and backwards / upside down. Bit of a stretch, but it (mostly) works.
This should become my new logo…
Drawn on lined paper (darn me!) decades ago. I chose this time not to invest effort removing the lines.

I found these guys under my workbench — literally.
It seems I created digital drawings, printed them, glued them to a piece of sheet metal, and was in the process of cutting them out to create standing metal figures. The concept was — they would be fully cut out (including the green base) with the bottoms of their feet still connected to the base, but bent — so the base would be flat on a table, and the figures would be vertical.
Not sure why I didn’t finish — maybe it was too difficult to cut the metal.
A couple of Snoopy drawings from when I was 14. Quite a bit of digital cleanup was required to minimize the look of the aged and wrinkled paper.
