I have a beer brewing kit, which allows me to make a case or two of beer at home. I haven’t done it in a while, but years ago – I made a few batches, including one where I was challenged to come up with a name for the beer. So I leveraged a Clint Eastwood character from the movie The Good, The Bad and the Ugly where he played an outlaw who had no name (never told anyone what it was). I took an image of Eastwood from that movie, made it look more like me, then built a label around it.
I can’t remember the name of this comic. I’ve tried searching online – using descriptions of these characters. Plus, I’ve even done reverse google image search to see if this image exists online – but that process is hampered by the grid lines in my drawing…
WAIT! I just found it!! (months later) It’s called Kelly & Duke. Not a very memorable name, which was part of the problem.
This is from a comic strip when I was young. Beetle Bailey is a soldier in the US Army. Looks like I submitted it for school (and got an A+).
Not sure what the point of this is — looks like it covers all animal types, though. Two of each — if the one behind the penguin is a salamander.
