Windows was a widely-used OS at the time, and an artsy image got lots of attention. Turns out, this was a photo of a hill in wine country not too far from my house &#8212; it&#8217;s between the cities of Sonoma and Napa. I found the location, and took a photo &#8212; which I cropped to match the MS image.
